After studying Medicine at the University of Birmingham, I developed a passion for teaching. It started as a hobby but then became a vocation when a number of students and parents encouraged me to tutor full-time. Given the level of competition in the academic world, approximately 1 in 3 students have support from a tutor. My aim is to help students achieve their aspirations and dreams. I believe that education is the key to future success. Learning should be fun, enjoyable and rewarding. Students enjoy my lessons and have gone on to excel. Every student has a hidden talent. My role is to identify and develop this further. Likewise, every student has a weakness which can be made into a strength with the right coaching and motivation. I have several years of tutoring experience. A solid foundation is the key to future success. My areas of expertise include the Entrance Exams at 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+ where I cover Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, and Science. Getting into a good school at a young age increases the chances of getting good GCSEs and A-levels which are important for University admissions. I cover the ISEB for admissions to top independent schools as well as the relevant curriculum for top grammar and selective schools. The vast majority of the pupils I have tutored have gained admission into schools such as Haberdashers', Merchant Taylors, QE boys, Watford Grammar, Parmiters, Dr Challoner's, City of London, St Pauls, Colet Court, Eton, Harrow, John Lyons, St Helen's, Northwood College, Henrietta Barnet, NLCS, Westminster and Winchester. I also specialise in GCSEs, IGCSEs and A-levels. For GCSEs and IGCSEs, I cover Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. At A-levels, I tutor Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Economics. For University entrance, I coach students for Oxbridge, BMAT, UKCAT, IMAT, GAMSAT, personal statements and interviews. Nearly all my students enter their first choice Universities. Options for tuition include; one-to-one, small groups and online over Skype. Home schooling is also available. For further information, please contact me on the details provided. |
